Who are we?
The Perry Family Literacy Center, an off-shoot of Read Around Perry, is a community literacy program
begun by Rotary in the fall of 2011. While developing and implementing Read Around Perry, the
committee recognized the need for early childhood literacy and speech intervention in the town of
Perry, along with parent education and support. Currently, the Perry Family Literacy Center provides
literacy and language intervention to students at Perry Elementary School. Tutoring sessions are
conducted by highly trained, volunteer tutors, passionate in early literacy intervention.Where are we located?
The PFLC holds tutoring sessions in the Perry Elementary School Library and Media Center. Our
partnership with PES allows convenient times for parents and students. Times range from immediately
after school until the evening. To inquire regarding available time slots, please email

All preschool-3 rd grade students residing in Perry, NY qualify for tutoring.If you are interested in registering your child for free tutoring, please email
