The Perry Central School Mentoring Program is designed to foster the professional development of new teachers, assist in the retention of quality professional teachers, assist new teachers in becoming familiar with the culture, policies and procedures of our school, and promote reflective practice among our teaching staff.
Perry’s Mentoring Program is a 4 year program with different requirements each year. The first and second years of teaching typically focus on getting acclimated to routines, learning the curriculum, and developing a management system. Years 3 and 4 have professional development learning experiences that will assist teachers in deepening their instructional skills.
If you have any questions about the mentor program at Perry Central School District, please contact our Mentor Coordinator, Angela Conway at AConway2@Perry.K12.NY.US or the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Lauren Combo at LCombo@Perry.K12.NY.US.
