About Mrs. Brown

  • Dear Families,

My name is Mrs. Dianne Brown and I am so excited about teaching 2nd grade this year. I thought I'd share a little about myself with you.  I am a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and Cortland State University. I am certified to teach pre-k through 6th grade.  I have more than 10 years of teaching experience.  I currently live in Livonia with my husband and we have three children. Caitlin, our oldest is a graduate student at Michigan State Law. Our son Corey resides in Reno, Nevada and Sarah is a sophomore at SUNY Brockport. I grew up in the Rochester area, but have also lived in Chicago, Illinois, Vermont, Buffalo and Cortland, NY.

I came to Perry in the fall of 2007. I taught 3rd grade as Mrs. Belkota's long term substitute that year.  The following year, I was a substitute for most of the elementary teachers in Perry.  I also served as the pre-k language to literacy teacher with Mrs. Gillette in 2009-2010. I have taught both second and third grades here as well.  Some things you might like to know about me:
